Synthetic or organic sanitary napkins?

Synthetic or organic sanitary napkins?
Clinical study results*

The study was conducted in 2018 in Italy, among 200 women who declared that they have sensitive skin in the vaginal area. Before starting, all the participants were examined by a gynecologist and it was found that they had irritations on the skin of the sensitive area.

They were tested again the first month and the second month after the study.

SUBJECT OF STUDY

To evaluate whether the irritation observed from the use of synthetic sanitary napkins is reduced when organic sanitary napkins are used.

SAMPLE STUDY

Half (N=100) of the women wore the synthetic pads while the rest (N=100) wore the organic pads. Quantitative measurements were made between the 2 groups.

SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT ON SENSITIVITY PROBLEMS
SKIN AFTER USING AN ORGANIC COTTON NAPKIN

Sensitive skin problems such as swelling, dryness, itching and irritation of the skin of the vagina and the sensitive area in general were significantly less in the women who participated in the study and who wore sanitary napkins with organic cotton than in the women who wore synthetic sanitary napkins.
